IMAP e-mail

Does anyone use IMAP e-mail on their sidekick II? I set it up under the purported benefit that if I delete an e-mail from my sidekick e-mail box, it would be deleted from my mail server. This would allow me to screen e-mails while I'm on the road, and delete the ones that are spam etc. and not have to delete them again when I'm on my computer.

However, it looks like the Sidekick II just downloads the e-mails and treates them like POP3 by not syncing with the mail server. Is this true? Does anyone share this experience??

Yeah, it looks like the IMAP option is just a placeholder for now. I get the same experience: it just works like a regular old POP3 account.
