  If you're talking about the Over-The-Air (OTA) updates that were just released last month, you don't have to do anything -- they are automatically sent to your Sidekick. You'll see a little message asking you if you want to install the update now, or later, or to decline installing the update entirely. If you choose to update, your Sidekick will tell you that it's going to restart, and after the reboot it will have all the new features.
